Annie Rueter is a multi-platform journalist based in Vancouver. She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism and is currently working in podcasting.
Annie has produced work for NBC News, The Globe and Mail, CBC, CiTR Radio and Canadian Geographic, among others, on topics including health, environmental conservation, arts and local politics. She’s a skilled writer, producer, researcher and photographer who has worked collaboratively on complex storytelling projects.
While at UBC, Annie was a fellow of the Global Reporting Program where she reported on global seafood supply chains. She honed her research, interview and production skills during the rigorous two-year graduate program.
Annie completed her BA (Honours) at the University of Western Ontario, where she earned a double major in English and political science.
