Annie Rueter
Journalist. Photographer. Storyteller.
I am a producer and headshot photographer based in Vancouver, British Columbia. I spend most of my days producing audio stories for Pacific Content. Some of the podcasts I work on include the award-winning shows Choiceology and Command Line Heroes. It’s a great privilege to interview guests from all walks of life for these shows.
I also love capturing people’s authentic selves through photography. Whether you’re looking for sharp, professional headshots or expressive portraits, please consider reaching out. I work outdoors with natural light, and promise I’ll help you look and feel your best during a session.
Before joining Pacific Content, I was a student at the University of British Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism. I was one of ten fellows in UBC’s Global Reporting Program, and reported on global seafood supply chains for a year. The multimedia project was published with NBC news and won the 2019 Digital Publishing Awards for Best Editorial Package. I’ve also produced multi-media work for NBC News, The Globe and Mail, CBC, CiTR Radio and Canadian Geographic.
When I’m not interviewing people or shooting, you can find me reading, eating dessert or exploring the outdoors.
